Sun Weidong, Secretary General of China-Central Asia Mechanism, Visited IBI to Discuss Cross-Border Cooperation along the "Belt and Road" Initiative
On September 5, Secretary General of China-Central Asia Mechanism Sun Weidong and his delegation visited IBI, focusing on topics such as co-building cross-border cooperation among "Belt and Road" countries and the integrated development of regional digital economy. They held discussions with Liu Quan, founder and Chairman of IBI, as well as Liu Zhai, Board and Senior Vice President, and exchanged views on promoting the implementation of the outcomes of the Second China-Central Asia Summit and facilitating collaborative digital economy in cross-border industries between China and Central Asian countries.

Secretary-General Sun Weidong first visited the digital economy exhibition hall to gain an in-depth understanding of the operational models of IBI and the Duoduo platforms, the cross-border operation strategies of industrial belts, and the technological applications and practical strategies of IBI SAAS.
The China-Central Asia Mechanism is a regional multilateral cooperation mechanism jointly initiated by China with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, dedicated to promoting practical cooperation in trade, energy, infrastructure, and technology between China and the five countries. Since its establishment, it has facilitated the implementation of a number of major cooperation projects, effectively promoting the common development of the countries involved.

Liu Quan detailed the development process of IBI and the business layout of its three growth curves. He stated that the China-Central Asia Mechanism serves as an important platform for implementing the strategic plans of these six countries to promote multilateral cooperation, providing significant support for relevant enterprises in cross-border collaboration. As a leading B2B e-commerce and industrial Internet platform enterprise in China, IBI has a solid user base and strong resource integration capabilities. It has established a cross-border operation model based on a comprehensive cross-border service platform. He hopes that both parties can work together to contribute more to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road and promote win-win cooperation with Central Asian countries.
Liu Zhai introduced some cooperation projects the company currently has with countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. She stated that China possesses remarkable resource complementarity advantages with Central Asia and more Belt and Road countries. Based on the operational foundation of the industrial Internet platform of IBI, important support for cross-border collaboration in the digital economy will be supported, and she hopes to jointly promote cooperation innovation in various fields under the guidance of the Secretariat of the China-Central Asia Mechanism.
Secretary-General Sun Weidong highly praised the business model and the achievements of IBI it has made in the fields of industrial internet and cross-border supply chains. He stated that the current China-Central Asia cooperation has entered a new stage of high-quality development, and all parties should further strengthen systematic docking in areas such as digital economy and trade, smart logistics, and cross-border industries around the joint construction of high-quality "Belt and Road" initiative. IBI has shown remarkable results in cross-border digital services in industrial belts, and it is hoped that IBI can continue to leverage its platform and technological advantages to help elevate China-Central Asia regional economic cooperation to new heights.
Both parties agreed to take this meeting as an opportunity to continuously expand in-depth cooperation between China and the Central Asian region in areas such as the digital economy, industrial interconnection, and cross-border trade, implementing the important consensus of the six national head and the outcomes of the second China-Central Asia Summit at a high quality.
